Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Till Freiwald could be acquired at Phillips in an online auction in December 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Artsy x Phillips: Wrapped/Unwrapped auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 1,750.00 (€ 1,527.58) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Till Freiwald achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lotta in June 2013 with an auction result of EUR 26,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Till Freiwald konnte im Dezember 2018 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Artsy x Phillips: Wrapped/Unwrapped wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 1.750,00 (€ 1.527,58) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Till Freiwald erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lotta im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 26.250,00.
