In the American Art auction, the work Hunters On A Lake sold for USD 77,500.00 (€ 73,376.25) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Worthington Whittredge have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Pine Cone Gatherers in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 360,500.00 (€ 340,801.66).
