Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Thomas Downing was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in November last year. The price achieved of USD 31,875.00 (€ 30,877.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Thomas Downing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blue Tender in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 200,000.00 (€ 179,388.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Thomas Downing kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 31.875,00 (€ 30.877,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden.
