Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work „Dashboard“. by Thomas Demand was auctioned at Grisebach in October 2020. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 900.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Demand achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Yellowcake (Embassy I,II, III, IV, IV.a, V, VI, VII, VII.a) in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 413,000.00 (€ 375,659.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit „Dashboard“. von Thomas Demand kam im Oktober 2020 bei Grisebach zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 900,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.000,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Demand erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Yellowcake (Embassy I,II, III, IV, IV.a, V, VI, VII, VII.a) im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 413.000,00 (€ 375.659,45).
