Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dutch Stilleven by Thijs Rinsema was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art, including 1950 Northern European Avant - Garde auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in December 2008. It changed hands for a price of EUR 9,375.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Thijs Rinsema have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch Stilleven in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 37,950.00.

Die Arbeit Dutch Stilleven von Thijs Rinsema wurde im Dezember 2008 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art, including 1950 Northern European Avant - Garde bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 9.375,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Thijs Rinsema auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch Stilleven im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 37.950,00.
