Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Thijs Rinsema achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2016. In the Modern Art auction, the work without title sold for EUR 35,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Thijs Rinsema; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Dutch Stilleven sold at auction in December 2008 with the realized price of EUR 37,950.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Thijs Rinsema erzielte im Dezember 2016 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 35.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Thijs Rinsema; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Dutch Stilleven im Dezember 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 37.950,00.
