This artwork by Thijs Rinsema achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2002. In the TWENTIETH CENTURY ART auction, the work Still life sold for EUR 14,340.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thijs Rinsema - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch Stilleven, which sold at auction in December 2008 for EUR 37,950.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Thijs Rinsema erzielte im Mai 2002 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY ART wurde die Arbeit Still life für EUR 14.340,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Thijs Rinsema mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dutch Stilleven beobachtet, die im Dezember 2008 für EUR 37.950,00 versteigert wurde.
