Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2018 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Collection Arthur Brandt, which included the work Compass by Thijs Rinsema. The price achieved of EUR 2,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thijs Rinsema achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch Stilleven in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 37,950.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2018 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Collection Arthur Brandt durch, in der auch die Arbeit Compass von Thijs Rinsema zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thijs Rinsema erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch Stilleven im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 37.950,00.
