Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Man with wheelbarrow in the forest by Théophile Émile Achille de Bock was sold in the European Noble and Private Collections incl. Fine Paintings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2010. The price achieved of EUR 1,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Théophile Émile Achille de Bock achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Avondschemer in October 2001 with an auction result of EUR 32,900.00.

Die Arbeit Man with wheelbarrow in the forest von Théophile Émile Achille de Bock wurde im Dezember 2010 in der Auktion European Noble and Private Collections incl. Fine Paintings bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Théophile Émile Achille de Bock erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Avondschemer im Oktober 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 32.900,00.
