Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2011 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now including Topographical Observations, which included the work A farm in the polder by Théophile Émile Achille de Bock. The price achieved of EUR 1,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Théophile Émile Achille de Bock achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Avondschemer in October 2001 with an auction result of EUR 32,900.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2011 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now including Topographical Observations durch, in der auch die Arbeit A farm in the polder von Théophile Émile Achille de Bock zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Théophile Émile Achille de Bock erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Avondschemer im Oktober 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 32.900,00.
