This artwork by Theodore Roszak achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in March 2012. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Recollections Of The Southwest sold for USD 55,000.00 (€ 41,247.94) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Theodore Roszak - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Study for "Forty-Second Street", which sold at auction in November 2021 for USD 126,000.00 (€ 111,632.85).

In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Recollections Of The Southwest für USD 55.000,00 (€ 41.247,94) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Theodore Roszak mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Study for "Forty-Second Street" beobachtet, die im November 2021 für USD 126.000,00 (€ 111.632,85) versteigert wurde.
