Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Study For A Sea Quarry) by Theodore Roszak for USD 250.00 (€ 189.85). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Theodore Roszak achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Study for "Forty-Second Street" in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 126,000.00 (€ 111,632.85).
