In the American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture auction, the work House In Virginia (Castle Hill) changed hands for USD 212,500.00 (€ 147,815.80) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Admittedly, works by Theodore Robinson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Normandy Garden, October in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 1,496,000.00 (€ 1,112,019.62).
