This artwork by Theodore Robinson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in October 2016. In the American Art, Including the Collection of George S. Parker II from the Caxambas Foundation auction, the work Barnyard With Ducks sold for USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,525.45) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Theodore Robinson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Normandy Garden, October in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 1,496,000.00 (€ 1,112,019.62).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Theodore Robinson erzielte im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion American Art, Including the Collection of George S. Parker II from the Caxambas Foundation wurde die Arbeit Barnyard With Ducks für USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.525,45) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Theodore Robinson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Normandy Garden, October im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.496.000,00 (€ 1.112.019,62).
