In May 2021 Christies in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Giverny by Theodore Robinson. The »bidding war« ended at USD 50,000.00 (€ 41,003.77), 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Theodore Robinson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Normandy Garden, October in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 1,496,000.00 (€ 1,112,019.62).

Im Mai 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Giverny von Theodore Robinson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 41.003,77) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Theodore Robinson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Normandy Garden, October im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.496.000,00 (€ 1.112.019,62).
