This artwork by Tetsumi Kudo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2016. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Souvenir-La Mue (Memory-Pupal Skin) sold for GBP 118,750.00 (€ 132,291.10) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 45,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Tetsumi Kudo; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Sans Titre sold at auction in December 2016 with the realized price of EUR 211,500.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Tetsumi Kudo erzielte im Oktober 2016 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde die Arbeit Souvenir-La Mue (Memory-Pupal Skin) für GBP 118.750,00 (€ 132.291,10) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 45.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Tetsumi Kudo; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Sans Titre im Dezember 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 211.500,00.
