Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2019 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Souvenir "La Mue" (Homosapiens) (Souvenir "The Moult" (Homosapiens)) by Tetsumi Kudo. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tetsumi Kudo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans Titre in December 2016 with an auction result of EUR 211,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Souvenir "La Mue" (Homosapiens) (Souvenir "The Moult" (Homosapiens)) von Tetsumi Kudo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tetsumi Kudo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans Titre im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 211.500,00.
