Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Loch Bloom by Teng-Hiok Chiu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2019. It changed hands for a price of HKD 237,500.00 (€ 27,181.81) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 140,000.00 – 240,000.00. Other works by Teng-Hiok Chiu have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2019 the work without title was auctioned for HKD 350,000.00 (€ 40,593.52).
