Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Fold Slice Topo II by Tauba Auerbach was auctioned at Phillips in New York in June this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,794.00 (€ 2,558.61). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tauba Auerbach achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Fold) in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 1,426,500.00 (€ 1,995,317.20).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Fold Slice Topo II von Tauba Auerbach kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.794,00 (€ 2.558,61) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tauba Auerbach erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Fold) im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.426.500,00 (€ 1.995.317,20).
