Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Peony by Tang Wai Hung was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in September last year. The price achieved of HKD 12,600.00 (€ 1,639.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tang Wai Hung - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red Plum Blossom, which sold at auction in May 2021 for HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,285.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Peony von Tang Wai Hung kam im September letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 12.600,00 (€ 1.639,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Tang Wai Hung mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red Plum Blossom beobachtet, die im Mai 2021 für HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.285,39) versteigert wurde.
