The work Calligraphy in Running Script by Tang Wai Hung was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. It achieved a price of HKD 15,120.00 (€ 1,795.07), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tang Wai Hung - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red Plum Blossom, which sold at auction in May 2021 for HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,285.39).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script von Tang Wai Hung kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 15.120,00 (€ 1.795,07) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Für andere Arbeiten von Tang Wai Hung mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red Plum Blossom beobachtet, die im Mai 2021 für HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.285,39) versteigert wurde.
