Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2021 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Calligraphy - Listening To The Rain In Spring by Tang Wai Hung. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 11,250.00 (€ 1,199.14). Admittedly, works by Tang Wai Hung have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red Plum Blossom in May 2021 with an auction result of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,285.39).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2021 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy - Listening To The Rain In Spring von Tang Wai Hung zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 11.250,00 (€ 1.199,14) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tang Wai Hung auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Red Plum Blossom im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.285,39).
