Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy in Running Script – Only Love Lasts Forever by Tang Wai Hung was sold in the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. The price achieved of HKD 10,080.00 (€ 1,207.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tang Wai Hung have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red Plum Blossom in May 2021 with an auction result of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,285.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script – Only Love Lasts Forever von Tang Wai Hung wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 10.080,00 (€ 1.207,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tang Wai Hung auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Red Plum Blossom im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.285,39).
