Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction A Special Selection of Asian 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Abstract by Tang Haiwen. The price achieved of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 7,110.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 90,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Haiwen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Aube in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,720,000.00 (€ 159,971.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2013 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion A Special Selection of Asian 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Abstract von Tang Haiwen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 7.110,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tang Haiwen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Aube im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.720.000,00 (€ 159.971,16).
