Sold at the upper estimate price
This work without title by Tang Haiwen was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. The auction ended at the price of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 23,116.30), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tang Haiwen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'Aube in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,720,000.00 (€ 159,971.16).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Tang Haiwen kam im Mai 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 23.116,30) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tang Haiwen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'Aube im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.720.000,00 (€ 159.971,16).
