Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Tang Haiwen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. In the 20th Century Chinese Art auction, the work Sans Titre (Diptych) sold for HKD 437,500.00 (€ 40,690.34) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tang Haiwen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work L'Aube, which sold at auction in April 2014 for HKD 1,720,000.00 (€ 159,971.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tang Haiwen erzielte im April 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art wurde die Arbeit Sans Titre (Diptych) für HKD 437.500,00 (€ 40.690,34) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Tang Haiwen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit L'Aube beobachtet, die im April 2014 für HKD 1.720.000,00 (€ 159.971,16) versteigert wurde.
