Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Tang Haiwen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. In the 20th Century Chinese Art auction, the work Sans Titre (Diptych) sold for HKD 212,500.00 (€ 19,763.88) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tang Haiwen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'Aube in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,720,000.00 (€ 159,971.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tang Haiwen erzielte im April 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art wurde die Arbeit Sans Titre (Diptych) für HKD 212.500,00 (€ 19.763,88) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tang Haiwen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'Aube im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.720.000,00 (€ 159.971,16).
