This artwork by Tancredi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in June this year. In the 20th Century to Now auction, the work Quando Il Sole E’ Colorato sold for GBP 120,650.00 (€ 140,415.83) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tancredi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Omaggio a Debussy (Il cielo la terra e l’acqua) in October this year with an auction result of EUR 730,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tancredi erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century to Now wurde die Arbeit Quando Il Sole E’ Colorato für GBP 120.650,00 (€ 140.415,83) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tancredi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Omaggio a Debussy (Il cielo la terra e l’acqua) im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 730.800,00.
