Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work Withered by Tala Madani. The price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,066.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tala Madani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Elastic Pink in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 65,495.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit Withered von Tala Madani zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.066,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tala Madani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Elastic Pink im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 47.500,00 (€ 65.495,45).
