This artwork by Tala Madani achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in April last year. In the New Now auction, the work Cheering sold for GBP 17,640.00 (€ 21,035.08) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tala Madani - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Elastic Pink, which sold at auction in February 2015 for GBP 47,500.00 (€ 65,495.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tala Madani erzielte im April letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde die Arbeit Cheering für GBP 17.640,00 (€ 21.035,08) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Tala Madani mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Elastic Pink beobachtet, die im Februar 2015 für GBP 47.500,00 (€ 65.495,45) versteigert wurde.
