Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Takesada Matsutani could be acquired at Bonhams in New York in August this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash auction, the work Red Sun changed hands for USD 166.40 (€ 153.52) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Takesada Matsutani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Work 65-W in June this year with an auction result of GBP 214,200.00 (€ 249,291.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Takesada Matsutani konnte im August diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash wechselte die Arbeit Red Sun für USD 166,40 (€ 153,52) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Takesada Matsutani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Work 65-W im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 214.200,00 (€ 249.291,92).
