The work Stream Amidst Lofty Mountains by Tai Xiangzhou was sold in the Inkspiration: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in August 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 151,200.00 (€ 16,465.42), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tai Xiangzhou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mountains and Streams in May 2017 with an auction result of 240 200,000.00 (€ 177,999.29).

Die Arbeit Stream Amidst Lofty Mountains von Tai Xiangzhou wurde im August 2021 in der Auktion Inkspiration: Chinese Paintings Online bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 151.200,00 (€ 16.465,42) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tai Xiangzhou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mountains and Streams im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von 240 200.000,00 (€ 177.999,29).
