Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Landscape and Calligraphy by Tai Xiangzhou was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in August 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 302,400.00 (€ 32,930.85), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 21%. Admittedly, works by Tai Xiangzhou have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mountains and Streams in May 2017 with an auction result of 240 200,000.00 (€ 177,999.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape and Calligraphy von Tai Xiangzhou kam im August 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 302.400,00 (€ 32.930,85) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 21%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tai Xiangzhou auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mountains and Streams im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von 240 200.000,00 (€ 177.999,29).
