Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Celestial – Impression Of Yan Wengui'S Landscape by Tai Xiangzhou was sold in the Chinese Contemporary Ink auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2015. It changed hands for a price of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 16,793.69) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tai Xiangzhou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mountains and Streams in May 2017 with an auction result of 240 200,000.00 (€ 177,999.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Celestial – Impression Of Yan Wengui'S Landscape von Tai Xiangzhou wurde im November 2015 in der Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 16.793,69) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tai Xiangzhou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mountains and Streams im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von 240 200.000,00 (€ 177.999,29).
