Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Celestial 2014-10 by Tai Xiangzhou was auctioned at Christies in Shanghai in October 2016. It changed hands for a price of CNY 96,000.00 (€ 12,926.11) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of CNY 65,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tai Xiangzhou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mountains and Streams in May 2017 with an auction result of 240 200,000.00 (€ 177,999.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Celestial 2014-10 von Tai Xiangzhou kam im Oktober 2016 bei Christies in Shanghai zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von CNY 96.000,00 (€ 12.926,11) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von CNY 65.000,00 – 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tai Xiangzhou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mountains and Streams im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von 240 200.000,00 (€ 177.999,29).
