In October 2016 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Moderna, which included the work Untitled. by Tadeusz Kantor. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 330,000.00 (€ 33,355.23), 65% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Tadeusz Kantor have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Emballages, objets, personnages n. 5 in December 2018 with an auction result of EUR 247,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 65 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2016 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Moderna durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled. von Tadeusz Kantor zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 330.000,00 (€ 33.355,23) und damit 65% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tadeusz Kantor auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Emballages, objets, personnages n. 5 im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 247.500,00.
