Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tree hut in Gallery, Plan N°5 by Tadashi Kawamata was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in March last year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,560.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tadashi Kawamata have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tree Huts Plan in June 2015 with an auction result of EUR 43,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tree hut in Gallery, Plan N°5 von Tadashi Kawamata kam im März letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.560,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tadashi Kawamata auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tree Huts Plan im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 43.750,00.
