Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Christies held the auction Art contemporain - vente online, which included the work SITE SKETCH N°54 by Tadashi Kawamata. The price achieved of EUR 5,292.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tadashi Kawamata have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tree Huts Plan in June 2015 with an auction result of EUR 43,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Christies die Auktion Art contemporain - vente online durch, in der auch die Arbeit SITE SKETCH N°54 von Tadashi Kawamata zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.292,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tadashi Kawamata auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tree Huts Plan im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 43.750,00.
