Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
The work Treehut Plan A-23 - 2016 by Tadashi Kawamata was worth EUR 28,600.00 to a buyer in December 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art - Day Sale at Artcurial in Paris and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Tadashi Kawamata; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Tree Huts Plan sold at auction in June 2015 with the realized price of EUR 43,750.00.

Die Arbeit Treehut Plan A-23 - 2016 von Tadashi Kawamata war einem Käufer im Dezember 2020 EUR 28.600,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art - Day Sale bei Artcurial in Paris erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Tadashi Kawamata; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Tree Huts Plan im Juni 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 43.750,00.
