Auction result well in line with expectations

The work P.S.1 Project Model (1) by Tadashi Kawamata was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in October 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 7,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 7,560.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Tadashi Kawamata have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tree Huts Plan in June 2015 with an auction result of EUR 43,750.00.

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Die Arbeit P.S.1 Project Model (1) von Tadashi Kawamata kam im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 7.560,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tadashi Kawamata auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tree Huts Plan im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 43.750,00.
