In the Important Australian Art auction, the work Australian trees On Riverbank sold for AUD 9,360.00 (€ 5,463.88) - well above the upper estimate of AUD 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sydney Long have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Australian the Milkmaid in August 2008 with an auction result of AUD 67,200.00 (€ 39,227.87).

In der Auktion Important Australian Art wurde die Arbeit Australian trees On Riverbank für AUD 9.360,00 (€ 5.463,88) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von AUD 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sydney Long auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Australian the Milkmaid im August 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 67.200,00 (€ 39.227,87).
