Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2012 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu by Sun Xingyan. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 9,955.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Other works by Sun Xingyan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2018 the work Couplet Calligraphy in Seal Script was auctioned for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,608.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2012 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu von Sun Xingyan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 9.955,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Sun Xingyan konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2018 die Arbeit Couplet Calligraphy in Seal Script für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.608,29) versteigert.
