Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Splendid Outcast "A groom clings..." by Stevan Dohanos was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2018. The price achieved of USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,066.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Stevan Dohanos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Art Lover (Tired Museum Feet) in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 118,750.00 (€ 108,013.46).

Die Arbeit The Splendid Outcast "A groom clings..." von Stevan Dohanos kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 16.066,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stevan Dohanos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Art Lover (Tired Museum Feet) im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 118.750,00 (€ 108.013,46).
