The work Protect our Children by Stevan Dohanos was sold in the American Art Online auction at Christies in New York in May 2018. The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,250.00 (€ 9,640.10), 41% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stevan Dohanos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Art Lover (Tired Museum Feet) in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 118,750.00 (€ 108,013.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 41 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Protect our Children von Stevan Dohanos wurde im Mai 2018 in der Auktion American Art Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 9.640,10) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stevan Dohanos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Art Lover (Tired Museum Feet) im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 118.750,00 (€ 108.013,46).
