Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work House In Westport by Stevan Dohanos for USD 4,063.00 (€ 3,071.28). This price was achieved in the auction American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stevan Dohanos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Art Lover (Tired Museum Feet) in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 118,750.00 (€ 108,013.46).
