The work Usine Toyota n°19, Valenciennes (France) from Melting Point by Stéphane Couturier was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in July 2020. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,308.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Stéphane Couturier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Grand Palais, Paris 8 in May 2011 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,446.33).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.308,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden.
