In July 2021 Christies in London held the auction Post War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included this untitled work by Spencer Sweeney. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,528.25), 35% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Spencer Sweeney have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Saint Tropez Gigolo in July 2020 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 42,466.45).

Im Juli 2021 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post War and Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Spencer Sweeney zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.528,25) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Spencer Sweeney auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Saint Tropez Gigolo im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 42.466,45).
