Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Red and blue painting for the red and blue studio #2 with foot painting (Orange Basquiat Head) by Spencer Lewis was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Christies in London in October this year. The price achieved of GBP 31,500.00 (€ 36,170.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00.
