The work Goth on the Phone by Sophie von Hellermann was auctioned at Phillips in London in April 2019. The auction ended at the price of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,816.44), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sophie von Hellermann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in December last year for GBP 16,380.00 (€ 18,491.42).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Goth on the Phone von Sophie von Hellermann kam im April 2019 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.816,44) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sophie von Hellermann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Dezember letzten Jahres für GBP 16.380,00 (€ 18.491,42) versteigert wurde.
