Auction result well in line with expectations
The work On Set Go by Sophie von Hellermann was auctioned at Sothebys in London in August 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,024.00 (€ 3,388.57) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Sophie von Hellermann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in December last year with an auction result of GBP 16,380.00 (€ 18,491.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit On Set Go von Sophie von Hellermann kam im August 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.024,00 (€ 3.388,57) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sophie von Hellermann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.380,00 (€ 18.491,42).
